Radio Controlled Y-Wing version 2 (WIP)

I just built a new fuse for mu RC Y-Wing (see <da:thumb id="498554005">)

Same dimensions as the old one (42.75 in X 20.25 in) but less than half the weightat around 3 ounces.. This time it is only 6mm foam with a few carbon fiber rods for strength and lighter glue.

Still has some problems tho, the first fuse was fine but this one still has some moderate twisting on the joint to the nacelles.
I would like to avoid the external braces that nuteman was talking about on RCGroups just out of principal, but will probably need something to keep the nacelles from twisting in flight. Perhaps laminating a small 3mm piece of foam or cardstock on the crossmember?  Or perhaps just replace the strut with some foam core.  Open to suggestions.
